Photography
I have spent practically my entire life actively pursuing my hobby – photographic documentation of transport operations, railway vehicles, and related infrastructure. With my equipment, I capture both interesting static scenes and fast, often unrepeatable events.
I see the value of my photographs primarily as a legacy for future generations. Just as many transport enthusiasts (and others) today enjoy looking at photos from the days of Czechoslovakia or even earlier eras, perhaps someday someone will look at my pictures in the same way. However, my photographs already bring joy to many people today – and that’s a good thing.
I am not an artistic photographer. When it came time to choose a DSLR, I simply picked the lightest one, so I could pull it out as quickly as possible when needed.
I rarely publish my photos myself, as there are already plenty of pictures on the internet, and I usually don’t have the time to showcase my work.
My photographs are also used by organizations involved in the operation of public transport not only in the Czech Republic, both for promotion and for communication with passengers. If you are interested in using my photographs, please feel free to contact me – I’m sure we can come to an agreement.
